Questions we get a lot.
A cloud Windows PC you rent on demand. Log in with Discord, top up a balance, and stream a full desktop to whatever machine you're on.
Prepaid balance. You're billed in 4-hour blocks, balance updates six times a day. Stop or delete an instance and you pay for the time since the last billing period.
You need enough runway for 4 hours across every running instance plus the new one. Formula: (current hourly rate + new instance rate) × 4. So a $2/hr instance running plus a $3/hr one starting needs at least $20.
Dashboard warns you when runway drops below one hour. If the balance can't cover the next billing period, instances may stop automatically. Top up and resume.
Yeah — stopped instances still bill because the disk stays allocated. When you're actually done, back it up to a snapshot, delete the instance, and restore it later when you need it.
First 250 GB of backup storage is free. After that it's $30/TB per month ($0.03/GB). Backups stick around until you delete them or close your account, and you can restore any backup to any running instance from the Backups page.
